Westfield fan Bob Summers looks out over the rain soaked field in Cranford this afternoon. With the Blue Devils leading 3-0 in the fourth, the heavens opened up and dumped buckets of rain onto the field and fans.
Tommy Summers walked and stole 2 bases, Devin Anderson had a booming double and Vin Difilippo threw 3 shutout innings, striking out 4, while also adding a two run single before the rains halted play.
Next up is Warren in the Babe Ruth Tournament on Tuesday at 6pm.
