Cranford Tournament Game Completed

Play resumed last night between Westfield White and Scotch Plains Gold in the Cranford Tournament. The game was started on 6/29 and reached the fourth inning before the rains came our way. At the time, the score was 3-0 in favor of Westfield.

Chris Boutsikaris took the mound for the Blue Devils and kept the Scotch Plains team off balance. He pitched three full innings of scoreless ball as Westfield went on to win 6 -0. Ethan Smith recorded the final out of the game by making a diving, sliding catch of a soft fly ball hit out to right field. Great defense all around by all the boys.
