Westfield put 10 runs on the board in their Saturday morning game against Union but that was not enough as Union went on to win by a score of 15 - 10. Both teams scored early in the game with Westfield pushing 2 runners across the plate in the first and 6 runners in the second. Union was able to score 6 in the first and 8 in the second to make the score 14-8 in their favor at the end of two. The middle innings of the game were relatively quiet as Union scored 1 more in the third and Westfield went scoreless until the sixth when they were able to put 2 more runs on the board.
Chris Rinaldi went 2 for 3, with 2 doubles, 3 RBIs and 1 run scored. Scott Tupper also contributed 2 hits, with 1 RBI and 1 run scored.
